Thai people roaming and working the streets of Bangkok are an eclectic collection of hustlers, monks and nomads. During a recent stay in Thailand’s largest city, I took photos of them. Check out my 30 favorite photos below.
I took the route of capturing Thai people in leu of famous temples and wats for this fun little project. Bangkok’s historic religious and political landmarks are beautiful, no doubt. But the living, breathing Thai people braving it every day in Bangkok’s treacherous streets are fascinating in a different sense.
I’m lucky to have friends in Bangkok who let me crash at their apartment during my stay. While they taught ESL from 7:30-16:30, I was left to my own devices until they returned. Perfect opportunity to try out my new Canon T3i Rebel! Although it took a chunk out of my first teaching paycheck at 18,500 baht ($600 USD), a decent camera was a great investment for the blog.
Thanks for viewing my photos of Thai people and animals!
