Kyle and I having pho in Saigon

Best Pho in Saigon – Featuring Kyle Le (Video)

In this SPECIAL video, I’m in Saigon, Vietnam with the one and only Kyle Le from Kyle Le Dot Net, eating what he considers the BEST PHO in all of Saigon. The restaurant: Phở Lệ, a locally owned pho restaurant that is famous for its outstandingly delicious beef pho.

We each ordered the “special,” which contains beef and a little bit of everything. While we chow down on this Vietnamese specialty, we discuss varieties of pho, compare flavors in North Vietnam and South, and have a nice chat about Vietnamese food in general.

I’ve eaten a lot of pho in my life, and I gotta say: this was some damn good pho. It was a bit pricey at 80,000 dong ($3.58), but like Kyle said, you get what you pay for.

About Kyle Le

He grew up in Garden Grove, California, but has been living in Vietnam and producing videos here for almost six years. He has traveled basically everywhere in Vietnam and eaten every specialty dish the country has to offer. His expertise in all things Vietnamese is truly impressive, and that’s why it was such an honor to have dinner with him at his favorite pho restaurant here in Saigon

He’s such a cool, down-to-earth guy with amazing passion when it comes to travel and food in Vietnam, and you must check out his channel and subscribe to him because he posts videos way more often than I do.

My experience growing up and eating pho

Talking with Kyle about this Vietnamese noodle soup was a nostalgic experience for me. One of my best friends from Dallas is Vietnamese — shout out to Phil! — and the number of times I’ve slept over at his house and eaten his mom’s homemade pho is countless. Phil’s family was like my second family, so eating pho is, in many ways, like being back home.

A short message to my followers and fans:

It’s been fun blogging and producing videos over the last few years, and now I’m trying to turn this into a full-time gig! With that, I want to say thank you to all my followers and supporters over the years. If you enjoy my content, you can help me by logging in to YouTube and giving my videos a ‘thumbs up’ and by leaving comments. Also, sharing my content on Facebook or any other social media platform helps a lot, too.

Thanks, everyone!
