Showing YOU what it's like to travel all over Asia with 20 dollars a day

Boracay, Philippines: Traveling for 20 Dollars a Day – Ep 14

Boracay is a small island in the Philippines known for its gorgeous beaches and fancy resorts. In this video, I show you how you can eat a day’s worth of delicious Filipino food, soak up the sun on the beach, hang out with Filipino locals, and enjoy a wild nightlife in Boracay – all for 20 bucks!

How I spent my money in Boracay in one day:

($20 USD = 1,000 Philippine Pesos)

Breakfast (giniling) – 100 pesos
Lunch (beef bicol) – 170 pesos
Dinner (longsilog) – 85 pesos

Hostel bed – 400 pesos

5 rum & cokes @50 pesos each = 250 pesos

TOTAL COST = 1,005 pesos!

[Yes, I spent a lot on alcohol, but it’s hard not to on this island; the nightlife is incredible! Boracay on a budget is totally possible, even if you like to have a great time. And by great time, I mean party your ass off.]

Where I stayed: Second Wind Bed, Bunk, and Breakfast

Second Wind is located in the heart of the island in Station 2, close to just about everything a traveler needs, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach! One thing I really loved about this hostel was the open kitchen and cooking area. I was able to save money and eat healthy by cooking my own meals for a couple of days.
