My four favorite Chinese dumplings! If you travel to China, the most important thing to try is the food. Local street food is amazing, and the dumplings in China are outstandingly good.
Which one is your favorite? My 4 favorite Chinese dumplings:
Sheng Jian Bao 生煎包 (fried soup dumplings)
Price: 1 Yuan for 1 dumpling (15 cents per dumpling)
Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 (steamed soup dumplings)
Price: 8 Yuan for 4 dumplings (30 cents per dumpling)
Shui Jiao 水饺 (boiled dumplings)
Price: 10 Yuan for a full plate
Hun Tun 馄饨 (dumplings served in soup)
Price: 10 Yuan for a bowl

- The lady who made your first kind of dumpling JiaoZi was amazingly happy I guess after learning that you liked her dumplings. It was nice to see the people who made the food.Translate to Vietnamese
- i LOVE DUMPLINGS!! this video makes me so happy. they are hands down my favorite chinese food. my mom makes the best homemade dumplings/ bao zi, from scratch, dough and all. eat with black vinegar, and some raw garlic (beware stinky breath afterwards. but it’s worth it). xiao long bao is probably my next favorite. how i eat them is i nibble a small hole in the wrapping and then drip out the hot soup inside onto my spoon. i will then eat the xiao long bao and drink the soup separately.
- Just wonderful particularly the first lady’s dumplings I would so love to hear her talk about the preparation of the food and its cooking so delicious indeed. The fried dumplings are a treasure and I will hunt them down if possible here in the UK.

- Soup dumpling is definitely my favorite~ But yea, it is a little bit painful to eat….HOWEVER, waiting for it to cool down is even more painful!!!!
- After watching your video, I was determined to get some dumplings for myself. I learned that my local Trader Joe’s market stocks bao zi, pork sui mai, and wontons, so I’m enjoying my own little dim sum meal while I watch you again. Many thanks for spending the time and effort to show us China as it really is.
